Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling are handled for consulting services and educational products offered by Purificationouea.

1. General Principles

At Purificationouea, we aim to provide transparent and fair refund practices for all our consulting services and educational products. This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made directly through our Website at purificationouea.world, via email, telephone, or in person at our Rotterdam office.

This policy is designed to comply with Dutch consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Directive as implemented in the Netherlands, and the Wet koop op afstand (Distance Selling Act). Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this policy.

2. Right of Withdrawal for Distance Contracts

If you are a consumer purchasing services or digital products at a distance (online, by email, or by telephone), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason, in accordance with Article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code.

The withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement sent to assist@purificationouea.world or by post to Hoogstraat 56-A, 3011 PT Rotterdam, Netherlands.

2.1 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Services that have been fully performed with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed
  • Digital content (e.g., downloadable guides, video workshops) that you have accessed or downloaded with your prior express consent and acknowledgment of losing the right of withdrawal
  • Services booked for a specific date or period where the service was scheduled to begin within the withdrawal period and you were informed of this limitation at the time of booking

3. Consulting Session Refunds

3.1 Individual Consulting Sessions

For individually booked consulting sessions:

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before the scheduled session: Full refund of the session fee, or rescheduling at no additional charge at your preference
  • Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled session: Fifty percent (50%) refund, or rescheduling with a rescheduling fee of EUR 15
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled session: No refund; rescheduling may be offered at our discretion subject to a rescheduling fee of EUR 25
  • No-show without prior notice: No refund

3.2 Introductory Consultations

Complimentary twenty-minute introductory consultations are provided free of charge and are not subject to refund provisions as no payment is collected.

3.3 Multi-Session Programs

For programs consisting of multiple sessions (e.g., four-week starter program, twelve-week variety program):

  • Before the first session: Full refund minus an administrative fee of EUR 25
  • After the first session but before the second: Refund of seventy-five percent (75%) of the remaining program fee
  • After the second session: Refund of fifty percent (50%) of the remaining program fee
  • After the third session or beyond: No refund for remaining sessions; unused session credits may be transferred to another person within six (6) months at our discretion

4. Workshop and Group Event Refunds

For group workshops and educational events:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the event: Full refund
  • Cancellation 3 to 7 days before the event: Fifty percent (50%) refund or transfer to a future event of equal value
  • Cancellation less than 3 days before the event: No refund; transfer to a future event may be offered at our discretion
  • Event cancelled by Purificationouea: Full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date at your preference

If an event does not reach the minimum number of participants, we reserve the right to cancel the event with at least five (5) days' notice and offer a full refund or alternative date.

5. Educational Products

5.1 Physical Products

Physical educational products (printed workbooks, reference cards) may be returned within fourteen (14) days of receipt provided they are unused and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product was defective or incorrectly shipped.

5.2 Digital Products

Digital educational products (downloadable guides, video workshop access) are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, unless the product is materially defective or not as described. In such cases, contact us within fourteen (14) days of purchase for a replacement or refund at our discretion.

5.3 Defective Products

If you receive a defective physical or digital product, please contact us within thirty (30) days of purchase. We will provide a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

6. Refund Process

To request a refund or cancellation:

  1. Send an email to assist@purificationouea.world with the subject line "Refund Request" including your full name, order or booking reference, date of purchase, and reason for the request
  2. We will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days
  3. Eligible refunds are processed within fourteen (14) business days of approval
  4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase

If you have not received your refund within the stated timeframe, please check your bank account and contact your payment provider before reaching out to us. If the issue persists, contact us at assist@purificationouea.world.

7. Rescheduling Policy

We understand that schedules change. You may reschedule a consulting session or workshop registration once at no charge if the request is made more than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled date. Additional rescheduling requests may incur a fee as outlined in Section 3. Rescheduled sessions must be completed within ninety (90) days of the original booking date.

8. Disputes and Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our refund decision, please contact us to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, you may refer the matter to the Geschillencommissie or seek resolution through the courts of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

9. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated policy is posted. Purchases made before a policy change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
